In response to the low, diminishing light of December, the month with the shortest day of the year, Barberry Hill is bright with celebratory candlelit dinners, late-afternoon cross-country ski picnics at the old cabin, and nighttime gatherings around a bold fire on the hills to celebrate the Winter Solstice, Christmas Eve, and New Years Eve.
