November

November is a month of unpredictability. The sun may shine bright on an unusually mild Tuesday, then, by Wednesday morning the meadows may be covered with few inches of snow and the pond has made its first ice. The diminishing daylight, barren trees, and narrowing colors paint a melancholy landscape of many shades of warm and cool grays. It is a great month to get outside to feel the crisp air, take a hike, explore the woods, and savor the neutral tones of land and sky.
