April

One of our favorite months of the year, April is always full of promise as the snow recedes and spring’s first bulbs and earliest wildflowers begin to show. For us, April embodies the beginning of a new year. The ponds change from ice to deep dark pools, and life, it seems, returns to Barberry Hill. The days grow longer, the light stronger, and the air just a tad warmer. The process of putting winter behind and getting ready for the warmer months ahead, begins.
